Q | What is the SHARING HOPE course?

 

We all want the people around us to know Jesus. But it can be tricky. When it comes to faith, the world has changed rapidly and the people in our lives are in so many different places. Where do we even start? How do we start conversations that point to Jesus with Aussies today? How do we share the wonderful life transforming good news of Jesus wherever he has planted us?

We all need help with evangelism. That is the focus of this training material.

You will be introduced to a range of supplementary resources to further equip for personal evangelism including materials written specifically for Growth/Connect groups with Leaders Notes.

 

Learning Outcomes: At the completion of this course, participants will have:

1. Prepared their hearts for the work of sharing Jesus together

2. Reflected on biblical principles for having gospel conversations

3. Examined how to speak about Jesus in a way that unfolds over time

4. Developed a range of simple practical tools and skills for planting gospel seeds and growing gospel conversations

5. Grown in confidence and ability to share the love of Jesus in everyday ways

Course Outline -  5 or 6 x 60 min interactive modules over 5 or 6 weeks for Growth Groups.

(module 5 & 6 can be contracted and combined)
